“ Service was good. Not sure who our actual server was, but they seemed to work well as team. I love me some Indian food, so boyfriend took me here for the first time and it's cute! Gotta love an Indian joint playin hip hop/r&b with a projector of old Indian movies on the wall. Respect. The poutine made me smile. The butter chicken made my heart melt. The short rib was salty, but hey I can be sometimes too. Would definitely return if I'm in the area. ”

From the Butter Chicken Samosas to the Chicken Biryani, all dishes were cooked well and served in an unpretentious environment accompanied by friendly waiters. Personally, I love a cocktail for dinner and love that this India spot offers that. The chai espresso martini was delicious and totally worked for me. Bonus points since we got a parking spot right in front on a Friday night. Looking forward to coming back to explore more! ”

“ Simply an incredible and delicious meal. We got the samosa (delicious) and dahi poori (SO interesting and flavorful) to start. Exciting way to wake up the taste buds for the flavors to follow. All the flavors were interesting and the chicken and mussels were cooked to LITERAL perfection. I've never had such perfectly cooked mussels and chicken (chicken tikka). I must say again - perfect cook on these two!!!! So tender!!!! The butter chicken was scrumptious. The mango mousse and chocolate chai desserts were so special and tasty. I dunno what else to say - just go try it! ”

“ An enjoyable night out in town and this was not a bad match. Saag paneer is always a go to dish whenever my saag partner is around, and they did not disappoint here. Roasted Gai Lan was recommended by our delightful server and so I went with it. I'll have to return to try some of them other dishes I the menu. Special vegan menu is available. Nice ambiance in the space though sometimes loud tables nearby might mash the vibes. Chili cheese naan was delicious as well!! ”

“ Badmaash just does not miss! Ordered chili cheese naan, which is a crispy, cheesy delight that will be devoured in the blink of an eye. The black lentils are a must. A nice level of spice, perfectly cooked with a delicate texture that will havre you scraping the bowl. A crazy combo with the chili cheese naan. The Goa pork curry combines perfectly tender pork with fragrant spices and onions. Unique to find dishes from Goa in most Indian restaurants, and it's so good here!! Even the cucumber raita brings great things to the party, with a really nice touch of cumin that elevates the refreshing side. Rounded things off with the Chocolate-Chai Pot de Creme, which brings a smash of chocolate to the palate with a smooth Chai finish and perfect crunch from the almonds. Like the 90's hip hop track blasting from the speakers, Badmaash is still epic after all this time! ”

“ I LOVE BADMAASH!!!!! Badmaash was the first restaurant i went to when i moved to LA and its still one of my favorites. The chicken tikka poutine is exceptional and it's even better if you order chicken tikka masala and pour the masala on top of the poutine. The parle g ice cream sandwiches are hilarious too. Everything about badmaash slaps down to the Action Bronson co-sign. ”

“ Made an impromptu visit here for a late lunch. It's a small little place but well-spaced seating and clean interior. It's in the middle of downtown so look for metered street parking or paid lots. We were on a time crunch and the service was great! The server was quick, friendly and very efficient, as were the kitchen staff. We ordered and our food was out within minutes. Had both the traditional and butter chicken samosas, both were great. Tasty fillings inside a deep fried flakey shell. I preferred the butter chicken filling over the traditional potato and peas. Also ordered the lunch special butter chicken quick time bowl, which came with a good portion of basmati rice and pickles. Don't forget the fresh naan, a great supplement or just plain good on its own. ”

While the food leans more toward fusion than traditional Indian, every dish we tried was packed with flavor. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance is laid-back and chill, making it a great spot to relax with friends after a busy day. The highlight for me, though, was the oat chai I had for dessert--it was hands down the best chai I've ever had. It was so good that I was excited to learn they sell it at Erewhon, and I'll definitely be picking some up to enjoy at home. Overall, Badmaash combines delicious food with a relaxed atmosphere, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to explore modern Indian fusion in a chill setting. ”
